After Care
A little care goes a long way. Find simple reminders for your service and keep your results looking their best.
Your personalized instructions always come first. Follow the product-specific directions given during your appointment, especially for permanent makeup.
Permanent Brows
Care for your new brows as they heal.
How to Care
- Keep the brows dry besides washing. Following the written Dani Esthetics procedure, wash the brows about 3–4 hours after your appointment, then morning and night for 7–10 days or until flaking has finished, unless Riça gives you different personalized instructions.
- For each wash, use clean hands, lukewarm or cool water and the recommended gentle soap. Clean lightly in the direction of hair growth, rinse completely and pat dry with a clean soft towel or paper towel. Keep brows dry between washes, including during showers. Let flakes release naturally without picking or rubbing.
- Contact Dani Esthetics if you are unsure about healing or your touch-up schedule.
What to Avoid
- Do not pick, scrub or scratch healing skin.
- Avoid makeup, exfoliants, retinoids, swimming, soaking and direct sun on the healing area until you have been cleared to resume them.
- Do not apply unapproved creams, ointments or oils. Avoid soaking or steaming the brows between washes; contact us about unexpected healing symptoms instead of changing the instructions yourself.
Brow Lamination
Keep your lifted brows looking smooth and healthy.
How to Care
- Follow your specific product aftercare instructions. Many lamination systems require keeping the brows dry and avoiding steam and heavy sweating for the first 24–48 hours.
- Once cleared, gently brush brows into place and use only the conditioning product recommended for your service.
What to Avoid
- Avoid rubbing or sleeping with pressure on the brow area immediately after treatment.
- Avoid strong exfoliants and retinoids directly on the brow area, and do not repeat lamination too soon.
Lash Lift & Lamination
Gentle care for your lifted lashes.
How to Care
- Follow the water, steam and eye-makeup restrictions given during your appointment; timing depends on the lash system used.
- Treat lashes gently when cleansing once the initial aftercare period has passed.
What to Avoid
- Avoid pulling or rubbing your lashes and skip mechanical lash curlers.
- Do not apply unapproved products around the eyes if they cause stinging or irritation.
Brow & Lash Tint
Protect your fresh color with a gentle routine.
How to Care
- Cleanse gently and follow the initial washing guidance given at your appointment.
- Expect color to soften gradually with washing and normal hair renewal.
What to Avoid
- Avoid exfoliating cleansers or skincare directly on tinted brows, including salicylic acid (BHA), glycolic acid (AHA), and other exfoliating acids. Avoid oil-based cleansers, cleansing balms and oil-based makeup removers on the brows; these can make tint fade faster. Use a mild, non-exfoliating, non-oil-based cleanser around the area.
- Do not rub the eye area if you experience irritation. Contact us about unexpected reactions.
Brow Wax
Give freshly waxed skin a chance to settle.
How to Care
- Keep the area clean and use gentle, non-irritating skincare.
- Protect your skin from direct sun and follow the post-wax instructions given during your visit.
What to Avoid
- Avoid picking, strong exfoliants, retinoids, excessive heat or heavy friction on freshly waxed skin until irritation settles.
- Do not wax while taking isotretinoin (Accutane) or within six months after stopping it. Tell your esthetician about topical retinoids or recent peels before future appointments.
